This review is for the HorseLovers 2018 calendar by Brown Trout Publishers ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1975401751/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ).This calendar is useful diabetics who are on sliding scale dosing of medications (Insulins and other injectables).There are an area with lines at the bottom of each page where they can write their fasting or before meal fingersticks and next to it the sliding scale dose they took to cover it. Writing it down can also help older folks remember if they took their insulin for a meal already or their dose of a twice a day basal insulin.It's a day per page, so sill may be helpful to keep a diary as well for when you see your doctor to review glucose results and current med dosing, but helpful day to day.Also great to write appointments on for which doctor on which day and at what time.
I was rather disappointed with this product. The pictures are so dark I can barely see any of the horses (I will post a few examples when I can). The paper quality is ok and it does it's job. I just wish I could actually see the pictures better.
The matte print makes the photos in the calendar really underwhelming. The photos are nice, but hard to see. The other daily calendars I have are glossy printed and they are much more appealing.
