I ordered this book in the hope that I could gain some additional expertise on the Zoho CRM. I can truthfully state that this book did not help at all. There are eighteen pages dealing with the CRM, and they really are meant to be a basic overview of the interface and do not go past basic navigation instructions.If you are looking to make a decision on whether or not to use the Zoho products, this book would provide an adequate overview of the modules, but do not look for this book to help you if you have spent any time at all using the CRM.
I know that this is a review about the book and the book is fine. However, if you are buying the book you are either using or planning on using Zoho CRM. Which I find OK but very "clunky" too many steps to get it to do simple things such as trying to easily being able to see your notes while you are speaking with your contacts. I find it very cumbersome to edit your fields. If you have a simple need to keep names addresses and basic information is great and you can't beat the price. But you will find yourself sending e mails and calling Zoho support to get answers. Their support is OK but you are calling somewhere in Asia. Some speak very good English and some think that they speak very good and you loose a lot in the translation.If you have the time and patience to read the book slowly and play with the program for a while you may like it. But I know a few people who hated it and dumped it. I use it as little as I can and i'm looking for an alternative CRM.
The content does not have what i was looking for, otherwise is very informative and good for beginers
nothing really great...pretty much bare minimum information. i literally never opened this book again after the first read through b/c it was useless beyond that.
I didn't find anything in the book that I couldn't figure out from staring at the screen, or using the help menu, which also isn't very helpful.
Very basic overview - perhaps appropriate for absolute novices, too basic for existing users. May also be out of date to current versions.
I needed to know a lot more details and how-to - not a "tour" of the product. This leaves much to be desired.
I found this book very helpful and a quick reference when setting up and using Zoho CRMBuy it now
