This is great for beginners, the songs I would say are more familiar with young adults and adults...25-45 yrs. My teenage daughter did not know many of the songs, and my mother in law in her 70's knew even less. By the way, if you have ever dreamed of playing worship at a park, around the campfire, at the cabin, with friends...I kid you not, you can learn guitar with no extra equipment in 10 minutes using the 1 finger chord technique. Search YouTube: Easy Worship (One Finger Chords)-Key of G by CedarValleyMusic. By the way I have the shortest chubby fingers and so if I can do it, you can do it. Believe it or not, I taught my 14 year old, I taught my 10 year, old and my 70 year old mother in law, now I am teaching my friends at church.
When I ordered this book I didn’t realize it was written more like a guitar book. That is the only reason I only gave it 4 stars.I was a little intimidated at first, then sat down and tried it. I absolutely love this book. If you play by chord, it should be easy since it only has 4 chords. I am going to post a small section of one song just as an example, I am sure I will order more of these kind of piano/guitar books:) hope this helps!
This book is not what I wanted. It says "Guitar and PIANO" but the songs are written as lyrics with chord strum marks...not even in a lead sheet format. I would call this a songbook. If you do not already know the tune, this book will not help you. A photo of the interior of the book would have helped.
This is not a well done music book. There are no notes and staff to be able to discover the melody. Most of the songs are unfamiliar to me. I don't recommend this book.

I bought this for our praise team at church, we really like it.
Some songs have 5 chords and there is no tab for the 5th. Easy to google but still inconvenient and false book title.
Dislike expected music notation, came in guitar notation with only key and strum indications. Not easy to use without learning first.
